ABOUT
William Hamilton is BOLD
Originally from Oxford, Alabama, my earliest memories include creating short films with my fathers old camcorder, developing video games with online programming tools, and doing whatever I could to learn something new.
My involvement in high school extra-curricular activities including the Film Club and the Alabama Tech Fair lead me to create a rich portfolio of short and feature films, as well as multiple award-winning interactive projects, including my first award-winning VR project at 15. My works helped me gain the Honors Tutorial College scholarship, a full ride to Ohio University that allowed me lead my own learning.
I continued the trend into my college career, creating multiple short films, PC applications, and award-winning VR experiences during my time at Ohio University. Being a member of HTC allowed me to create a senior Thesis, using my coalesced knowledge from years of development into Automata-Land: a world-building concept paper with a Unity-Based demo that won HTC's Outstanding Creative Thesis Award.
